My daughter studies in group one . Mrs Stieneke is a great Suzuki violin teacher, patient and experiment. Except skill teaching, there is also many activities during the whole year learning which make the children not just learn violin also love and enjoy it.( look at the agenda in the web, you will find a long list for the whole year activities, amazing) Study an instrument is not so easy special for the young children. Except the parent help, an experienced teacher is helpful. Thanks for Mrs Steineke, she knows which part is difficult and which is important for the child. My daughter now just half past five, I asker her "do you like violin now", she said"Yes, I love it." It is true, now she doesn't want to stop it even I still remember at the beginning she cried for several times and wanted to quit. Music has magic, and also a great teacher has that magic. Love Mrs Steineke and the group one(enthusiastic parents). By the way, my daughter just could speak her mother language and English. So at the beginning, Mrs Stieneke speak english to her sometimes, then more and more dutch. Now she could follow her classmates in the 99% dutch violin class. Good job. Below I wish share also in my mother language, welcome more Chinese child like it : Stieneke 老师是一位非常有经验、有耐心的铃木小提琴老师。英文我会用great 来形容她,中文里我会说她是一位名副其实的好老师。 群体课程能够提升孩子们的兴趣,小提琴课堂上孩子不光可以和老师学习,也可以看看其他的同学们都是如何演奏和努力的,老师会给出solo的安排,这个时候每个孩子都会很配合的课后练习哦。Stieneke 老师安排了非常丰富的全年活动,有户外的表演,也有室内的表演,6月里三天的workshop也是非常棒的活动。孩子们再也不是闭门造车,而是真正的将小提琴演奏融入了日常的学习和生活中。 我的女儿加入group one时快5岁了,现在5岁半,对于她这么小年龄的孩子来说,刚开始学习会遇到困难,想放弃,老师和家长一起帮她坚持下来后,孩子逐渐就感受到了小提琴的魅力。现在我问她喜欢小提琴吗,她会不假思索的告诉我她爱小提琴。有时练习我说已经练完老师的要求了,她自己还要继续,停不下来。 有朋友问到上课语言的问题,我个人觉得对于音乐和体育艺术类的活动来说,语言不是挡路石。女儿会英语,所以最初的课程来说,Steineke老师会就关键重要的地方单独用英语和她说一遍。孩子们的语言接受能力比成人好太多,逐渐的她就能听懂上课各种指令要求,现在老师上课99%的时间用荷兰语,她也可以跟上(不是所有的能懂,只是听不懂的地方并不影响她学习)中国的孩子在国外学习任何东西都会碰到外语,所有试着适应就好了,孩子们总是给我们惊喜。 最后补充的是,对于铃木教学法,需要家长能配合老师帮助孩子理解和课后练习,一分耕耘一分收获,加油 and Enjoy。
